Seller's Guide

From determining your home's value to closing day, learn more about the home selling process.

Selling your home

Step 1: Choose a Realtor

Not all Realtors are a good fit for YOU!

Making sure you align with your real estate agent is vital.  I've worked with people selling there home, most who are amazing to work with, helpful in the process of getting their home ready and able to work through the stages of the home sale and get the offer to the closing table.  I've worked with others who are a nightmare.

The opposite holds true when YOU select your agent.  Do they listen to your needs, are they responsive to you, do they set a procedural measure of what to expect and how the process works?  If they have you sign and then don't keep you informed or seem like they don't know how to do the job or negotiate... You might be in a world of chaos during the entire process...choose wisely.

Step 2: Prepare Your Home, and you, for Sale

I will provide you with a step by step guide on how to prepare your home, inside and the exterior, to get it to sell.  This includes preparing you for the different psychological stages that come with each area of the home sale...

1. We want to list... what do we do.
2. It's listed... how do we keep the house clean for showings
3. Offer is in, NO, I won't agree to keep the built in shelves... and how to actually respond.
4. How bad is this home inspection going to be and what it they want something fixed.
5. How is the buyers mortgage process going...what if it's not funded in time.

Step 3: Closing Day

We will walk you though everything, ahead of time, and what to expect, what you'll need to bring with you to closing, and provide information on what you can and cannot do to the home prior to the buyers taking possession.
